Igor Kuznetsov
Head of the Global Center for Threat Research and Analysis
Igor Kuznetsov, head of the Global Center for Threat Research and Analysis, joined Kaspersky Lab in 2001 as a virus analyst. In 2009, he headed a group that was engaged in the development of infrastructure for processing and detecting spam in the Anti-Spam division.
In 2011, Igor joined the team of Kaspersky Lab's Global Threat Research and Analysis Center (GReAT) as a malware expert. In 2013, he took up the position of lead researcher and then Chief Researcher on cybersecurity. He held the position of chief researcher until his appointment as head of the GReAT Research Center in Russia and the CIS countries in 2022.
Due to his achievements in this position, in 2023 Igor was appointed Director of the Global Center for Threat Research and Analysis (GReAT) at Kaspersky Lab. Igor specializes in the investigation of malware campaigns and reverse engineering of modern malware. His expertise and experience are indispensable for analyzing and finding ways to counter complex cyber threats.
